After Microsoft's buying of Mojang was Minecraft Maps announced earlier this month, both the Minecraft developer and Xbox division head Phil Spencer were quick to reassure fans they still want to maintain the popular sandbox creation title on Playstation platforms such as the recently released PS4 edition of the game. Making good on who advertise, the state run Playstation blog announced on Sept. 18 that Minecraft: PS4 Edition would be getting a physical retail disc release this October.
